About me

I am an investor , entrepreneur and a businessman. This blog represents my analysis on stocks and future markets as an investor. You are free to use any information in this blog as long as you agree with my disclaimer (see the link above). Thanks for visiting.

As a background, I have trading experiences on these following markets:

a.) Gold futures
b.) Crude oil futures
c.) E-mini S&P 500

With respect to stock trading, I do manage to make a little stock portfolio which I evaluate according to the following:

1.) % Capital growth
2.) Draw down
3.) Risk management
4.) Diversity of the stocks involved
5.) Volatility of stocks

I also invest in government bonds in long term basis and it was a low risk investment with decent returns. A good example is the 4.5 year treasury bonds.

Most the time, since trading stocks and doing future trading is a risky form of investment. I minimize the exposure of risks by putting in a high yielding bank accounts (time deposit for example) as well as in treasury bonds for which the government guarantees a return.

For those new in trading stocks and futures, my personal training stage are as follows:

Step1: I read a lot of trading books, learn the fundamentals of trading ( for example understanding what is support and resistance, as well as other terms in technical trading like moving average).

For those that I do not understand clearly, I joined stock trading forums and openly asked those questions. You can get a very good answers.

Step2: I then practice using stock trading software like eSignal.

Step3: I then start analyzing trades in paper like in futures and stocks.

Step4: Finally I read more materials pertaining to money management which is very important factor in trading success.

Step5: I trade paper frequently and compute the profits, losses, %wins and all necessary stats that defines a good trading system.

Step6: I evaluate those trading systems I use very carefully and check my money management strategy. Computation of expectation and profit per trades are important on this stage.

Step7: Once I get a profitable trading system, I trade for real.
