Trading is a risky activity. Any information in this blog does not substitute trading recommendations which you will implement. You are responsible for your own money management and use this information presented here at your own risk.
To minimize the risk I suggest the following steps:
1.) Do not trade for real if you do not have a proven trading system.
2.) Trading for real means using real money on trading.
3.) A proven trading system will give a positive expectancy.
Positive expectancy means that in the long run , the trading system will provide positive returns. It is highly important that you have factor other costs in doing trading. A good example are:
a. Trading commissions
b. Taxes
c. Other additional costs involved (you can asked for broker)
4.) A positive expectancy system relies on strong money management ethics.
5.) It is important not to be too hurry when doing trading especially if you are new. The best way is to start slow, learn quick and test your trades in paper.
6.) When testing trades on paper, it is highly recommended that you will have at least 300 to 500 trading sessions. The higher the sample size in your paper trading, the better.
Of course, again you can use all the information provided on this blog at your own risks. By following the above suggestions, you will minimize the risk. It is impossible to have zero risk if you do stock and futures trading.
